Respect for the enviroment

In addition to the ISO 14001:2015 certification, we strongly support our commitment with sustainability by working together with an IMS and authorised waste management companies.

√ Enforce a Plan to reduce the impact of packaging and packaging waste on the environment.

CHUBBS has reduced cardboard consumption by 10% and fuel used in transport and delivery by 3%, as a result of working closely with ECOEMBES, the Spanish national recovery organization and he company’s efforts.

√ CHUBB is a Zero Waste company. We work with an Environmental Management System, which help us reduce, gradually, our environmental impact.

No wastewater is put into the public sewer: everything is reused or sent to sewage treatment through certified companies. We are currently working with SGR and CEPSA on this matter.

A.I.S.E. Charter for Sustainable Cleaning Certificate of Commitment

The Charter for Sustainable Cleaning is a voluntary initiative of the European soaps, detergents and maintenance products industry.

The aim is to encourage the whole industry to undertake continual improvement in terms of sustainability and also to encourage consumers to adopt more sustainable ways of doing their washing, cleaning and household maintenance.

The Charter is a lifecycle analysis (LCA) based framework. It promotes and facilitates a common industry approach to sustainability practice and reporting. A wide variety of activities and initiatives are covered, ranging from the human and environmental safety of chemicals and products, to eco-efficiency, occupational health and safety, resource use and consumer information.

A.I.S.E., which represents the soaps, detergents and maintenance products industry in Europe, manages the Charter scheme on its behalf.

PROJECT OF ENERGY EFFICIENCY AND USE OF RENEWABLE ENERGIES

At Chubb, we are committed to the environment, which is why we develop actions aimed at promoting energy efficiency in order to consolidate a quality sustainability model in our facilities.

AUDIT
For this we have proceeded to the partial audit of the lighting equipment of all our facilities and the air conditioning of the offices of the first floor.
This action has been co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the Region of Murcia.

ILLUMINATION
For this we have proceeded to the renovation of lighting equipment by LED achieving the annual decrease of 9.72 tons of C02 emitted into the atmosphere.

AIR CONDITIONING
For this we have proceeded to the renovation of the air conditioning equipment achieving the annual decrease of 5.79 tons of C02 emitted into the atmosphere.
Total investment: € 12,810
